Wyatt Barr, a 2012 graduate of Maine College of Art in Portland, has continued to pursue a passion for portraiture and often paints characters he meets on the city streets. Typically exploring his subjects in black and white, he uses traditional and experimental techniques to combine inks and charcoal on paper and fabric. Barr is one of four artists being featured at A Fine Thing Gallery, 29 Forest Ave., Portland on Dec. 6.
