Works by David Caras, Kiki Gaffney and D.M. Witman are featured in an exhibit opening next week at Susan Maasch Fine Art. Caras and Witman are photographers. Gaffney’s works, including “Pink Toile and Honeycomb,” are paintings in oil and graphite that focus on patterns found in nature – and “in our daily lives, though we may not notice it,” according to the artist. The show opens Monday, Aug. 31, and includes a reception and talk on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 5-7 p.m. The gallery is at 4 City Center in downtown Portland.
