ICON Contemporary Art launches its season this week with an exhibit featuring the works of Garry Mitchell and Henry Wolyniec. Both artists are known for their use of abstraction and color. Mitchell will show monotypes, including this untitled piece, and paintings of alkyd on canvas. Wolyniec brings prints and collage works on paper. The show opens with a reception Saturday, May 2, from 4-6 p.m. at ICON, 19 Mason St., Brunswick, and runs through the end of the month.
