PORTLAND — Congress Street will be closed to vehicles from 5-8 p.m. Friday from Elm to State streets for the holiday celebration of First Friday Art Walk.
Creative Portland and Portland’s Downtown District announced the closure in a press release Thursday, adding parking will not be allowed in the same stretch of Congress Street from 3-8 p.m.
High Street will remain open to vehicle traffic across Congress Street, with police stationed at the intersection.
