PORTLAND — Antonio DiBiase, 81, of Portland died June 1 at Coastal Manor in Yarmouth.

He was born Sept. 28, 1932, in Portland, a son of Ambrose Sr. and Anna DiBiase. He grew up in Portland, graduating from Portland High School in 1950.

Shortly after high school, DiBiase enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served for four years. He later worked many years for the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed golf and was a big Patriots and Red Sox fan throughout his life. He also coached youth baseball in Portland for many years.

He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Samuel DiBiase.

He is survived by his brothers, Nick DiBiase, John DiBiase and his wife, Dorothy, and Ambrose DiBiase Jr. and his wife, Cynthia; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Coastal Manor for their care of DiBiase during his time there.

Friends and family were invited to visiting hours June 6, followed by a funeral service at A.T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, Portland. Interment followed at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.
