PORTLAND — Annual City Council district meetings begin next week, each hosted by a councilor. The meetings are public and offer a chance for residents to discuss neighborhood issues and concerns.
The meeting schedule is District 1, hosted by Councilor Belinda Ray, Wednesday, Dec. 5, 7 p.m., East End Community School, 195 North St.; District 2, hosted by Councilor Spencer Thibodeau, Tuesday, Dec. 4, 6:30 p.m., Reiche Community Center, 166 Brackett St.; District 3, hosted by Councilor Brian Batson, Dec. 13, 6:30 p.m., Rowe Elementary School, 23 Orono Road; District 4, hosted by Councilor Justin Costa, Dec. 10, 6:30 p.m., Presumpscot Elementary School, 69 Presumpscot St., and District 5, hosted by Councilor Kimberly Cook, Thursday, Dec. 6, 6:30 p.m., Casco Bay High School, 196 Allen Ave.
