SOUTH PORTLAND — Anne M. Foster, 44, died Oct. 28 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough with her family by her side.

On March 30, 1965, she was born in Portland, a daughter of D. Michael and Nancy (Capp) Littlefield.

She attended local schools and graduated from Portland High School in 1983. In 1988 she received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts.

At McAuley High School, she taught English and coached field hockey, basketball and tennis. She also worked at Intermed Pediatrics.

A wonderful and caring mother, she devoted her whole life to her children. She will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who knew her.

She was predeceased by her mother and her maternal grandmother Beatrice Capp.

Survivors include her father of Naples, Fla.; her husband, Mark Foster of South Portland; her children, Danielle, Michelle, Grace, and Matthew Foster, all of South Portland; two sisters, Debra Littlefield of Auburn and Michele Myhaver of Hooksett, N.H., and three brothers, David Littlefield of Sewickly, Penn., Scott Littlefield of Long Beach, Calif., and Mark Littlefield of Tampa, Fla.

Memorial services were held last weekend.

Arrangements are by Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland.
