BOSTON — Ann Marie Sitzmann, 66, of Concord, Mass., and Yarmouth, died Sept. 21.
Born on July 5, 1945, in Bayonne, N.J., the eldest of nine children of William F. and Helen (Ferry) Folger, she graduated from Holy Family Academy in Bayonne and later from the Bayonne Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
She worked at St. Luke’s Medical Center in New York City and in the neonatal unit of Maine Medical Center in Portland.
From 1987 to 2009 she was at the Middlesex School in Concord, Mass., where she served as assistant dean of students, director of community service, Peabody Residence head of house and a member of the admissions team. Throughout the years she demonstrated integrity in all of her relationships and responsibilities.
A woman of spontaneity, gentleness, dignity and grace, she had a natural ability to bring out the most important qualities of others.

Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Thomas G. Sitzmann of Concord, Mass.; her son Thomas G.G. Sitzmann and his wife Julia and their children, Thomas W. and Julia Ann of Annapolis, Md.; her parents, William and Helen Folger of Bayonne, N.J.; her siblings, William F.
