BATH — Alexander S. Coffin, 30, died April 5 with his family by his side at Maine Medical Center in Portland, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born Sept. 22, 1983, the son of Mary Coffin.

He attended Bath Schools and graduated from Morse High School, class of 2002. He worked several different jobs in the area most recent with Rick Leech Masonry.

He enjoyed his greatest love, his daughter, Erin Coffin. He also enjoyed baseball from the time he could swing a bat, the Red Sox, Bruins, tae kwon do and his guitars.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Coffin, of West Bath; sisters, Elizabeth Renaud and husband, Nick, Samantha Coffin and companion, Shaun Roberts, all of West Bath and Brittney Waterman, of Bath; four nieces; one nephew; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and many great friends, with his closest being John O’Leary, of Georgetown.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents and his uncle, Gene Alex Coffin.

Visiting hours were held April 11, at Daigle Funeral Home, Bath. A celebration of  life was held April 12 at the funeral home. A gathering of family and friends followed at the American Legion in Bath. Memorial contributions may be made to Erin M.
