BRUNSWICK — Alexander C. “Alex” Labbe, 13, died Dec. 30, 2010 at Maine Medical Center in Portland from complications of a heart condition.

Born in Portland on June 30, 1997, he was a son of Peter L. and Judy R. (Labbe) Labbe.

He had attended Longfellow Elementary School in Portland and was currently in seventh grade at Brunswick Junior High School.

A very spirited boy who touched many people with his personality and smile, he enjoyed plaing Nintendo, Wii and collecting Yugioh cards.

While his life was filled with many health obstacles, he always seemed so strong and determined.

He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

His grandfathers, Raymond Labbe and Claude Labbe, predeceased him, as well as two uncles, Ray Labbe Sr., and Roger Riendeau II, and a cousin, Christina Labbe.

Surviving are his parents Peter and Judy; maternal grandmother, Gertrude Labbe; paternal grandparents, Walter “Mr. Mac” and Madeline McMahan; many aunts and uncles; cousins; and friends.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated Jan. 4.
