PORTLAND — City voters can now pick up and cast absentee ballots for the Nov. 6 general elections.
Ballots can be cast in the State of Maine Room on the second floor of City Hall, 389 Congress St., until Nov. 1. Regular hours are 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. On Nov. 1, hours will be extended to 7 p.m. to pick up or cast ballots.
Absentee ballots can also be requested by calling the city clerk’s office at 874-8610, or online at https://bit.ly/2M70IZF.
Voters can register at polling places on Nov. 6 with an ID and proof of residency. Anyone not sure where to vote can find out at https://bit.ly/2se5SsH.
