BRUNSWICK — Adele Dee Little, 86, of Thornton Oaks, died Aug. 16 at her residence.

Little was born Dec. 18, 1928, in Plattsburgh, New York, the daughter of Edwin and Adele Keatley, of Exeter, New Hampshire.

She graduated from the Stanford University in California. On Dec. 4, 1958, she married George R. Little on Governors Island in New York City.

The couple owned newspapers in upstate New York and in Goffstown, New Hampshire, until they both retired in 1994.

Dee enjoyed traveling, was a prolific reader, and wrote commentary for various local publications. She was also very active in the local branch of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and served as its historical secretary.

Little was predeceased by her husband, George.

Surviving her are her three nephews: Ted Fraumann, of Fort Myers, Florida; Bill Fraumann, of Deerfield, Illinois; and Roger Fraumann, of San Diego.

Little was buried Aug. 25 beside her husband in Ogdensburg Cemetery, Ogdensburg, New York.
