PORTLAND — House Island in Casco Bay will be home this weekend to a two-day music festival called Rockin’ On The Bay. The event is a fundraiser for the Cap Mona Angel Fund and the Saint Patrick’s school in Haiti, which was founded by Maine native Coley Gorham.
Tickets are $75 per day or $125 for the weekend and include the cost of ferry transportation. The festival runs 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1 and 2. See www.houseislandmusicfestival.com or call 536-8950 for more information.
Cover bands will play favorites by Crosby, Stills & Nash, the Eagles, Elton John, Prince and more. Food trucks and breweries will also be on hand.
